Funded by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), this initiative aims to amplify women's voices within the ongoing reform movement and enhance engagement of multi-sectoral stakeholders to include female and minority issues in the reform agenda. To facilitate the aforementioned objectives, organizations dealing with female empowerment were identified to determine key female focused and led Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). This verifies female welfare and engagement focused statutory structures, informal structures, and CSO structures and identifies suitable female super activists. To ensure adherence to the objectives, thirteen activities have been implemented, including trainings on democracy, pluralism, and nonviolent communication, meetings on common issues, discussions with women politicians, civic leaders and government officials, local campaigns on pluralistic democracy and accountability, exchange visits, and a documentary capturing female activism and its role in creating a pluralistic and accountable democracy.
